DESCRIPTION
Developed for BC teachers by BC teachers (math coordinators/helping teachers from Lower Mainland), this site provides teachers many kinds of support for teaching the BC K-7 Mathematics curriculum.
TOOLS & FEATURES
For each strand of the curriculum (Measurement & Geometry coming in early February), key concepts are described narratively, then supported with sample lessons in a week-at-a-glance. There are lots of other supports provided as well, including instructional routines, Indigenous connections, and math games.
COST
Free, thanks to the support of the lower mainland Coast Metro consortium.
DISTRICT USE: APPROVED
Coast Metro Math Project is approved for classroom use in the Surrey School District.
