Learning in the Primary Years

Learning in the Primary Years is a BC Ministry of Education & Child Care resource that helps educators and families understand what early learning looks like in Kindergarten to Grade 3 classrooms. The document highlights how children are taught and grow as thinkers, readers, writers, and problem‑solvers through play, exploration, and intentional learning experiences and explains the big ideas, skills, and approaches teachers use to support their learners.
