A Canadian (CBC) subscription-based video, radio and podcast streaming service, available in English and French, for students of all ages: primary to adult.
TOOLS & FEATURES
- Wide variety of full-length TV shows, documentaries, radio broadcasts and podcasts available, some with teacher guides and lesson plans, on a wide variety of topics.
- The site allows you the option to search by provincial curriculum grades and topics. There is a Resources section with teacher tutorials on best use of the site and teacher guides/lesson plans to go with many of the programs.

Curio is paid for by the Surrey School District.
DISTRICT USE: CONDITIONAL
- This resource is approved for K - 12 classroom use in the Surrey School District.
- This resource requires a signed Technology Tool Consent form for student use in the Surrey School District.
PRIVACY INFO
This resource requires teachers and ttudents to set up an account for use. Teachers and Students are encouraged to use their district email to do so and provide the least amount of personal information during the set up.
