Canva for Education has recently been approved for use in the Surrey School District!
This much-requested app has a variety of graphic design tools that can be used by both teachers and students. Students can use Canva for Education to create content, and teachers can use it to create materials for their students. It can be used to make presentations, posters, banners, flyers, websites, and more.
Canva for Education is approved for use in the Surrey School District; however, Canva Free and Canva Pro are NOT district-approved. Using a public Canva account (i.e. Canva Free and Canva Pro) for students is strongly discouraged because Canva extensively shares personal information from public accounts with outside parties and serves up significant amounts of third-party advertising.
