In the pursuit of fostering equity and belonging within our educational spaces, it's important to understand the function of behaviours and gather meaningful data. This involves examining the various dimensions of behavior and employing a range of measurement tools such as Functional Assessment and frequency tracking, alongside modern platforms like Microsoft Forms, directly aligning with Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals. By integrating functional behavior assessment with diligent data collection, we can better support the needs of complex and vulnerable learners promoting a conducive learning environment where all students can thrive.
