Surrey’s Summer Institute – scheduled for September 1st and 2nd – will offer interactive, school-based professional learning opportunities. Sessions are designed for staff to attend together on site, with the facilitator joining remotely. This will allow for an unlimited number of schools to participate.

SHAPE OF THE DAY:

8:45am – District welcome and acknowledgement
8:55am – Session begins
12:00 noon – Session ends
1:00pm – School-based reflections and planning

Registration opens May 26. This year, each school will submit one registration form. Schools may select up to two sessions per site.

As highlighted in earlier memos, these are voluntary pro-d sessions. Schools considering summer pro-d are welcome to attend but are not required to include these sessions as part of their summer pro-d plans.
