This session will discuss strategies for cultivating a love of reading in both English and French. Participants will collaboratively exchange and explore ideas and strategies for fostering an intrinsic love of reading and building reading culture in English and/or French. Drawing inspiration from research findings and insights from global thought leaders in recreational reading and reading for enjoyment, participants will discuss the advantages and potential challenges associated with incorporating free choice reading into the French and English school contexts.
Intermediate Teachers/Teacher Librarians from English track or French programs are encouraged to participate.
