Resourcing the Primary Social Studies Classroom

In this session we will explore quality resources, both print and digital, that are focused on the primary classroom. Print resources, like those from Nelson and Pearson, will be shared with a brief introduction to the way each is set up to specifically align with our current curriculum. We will also explore quality, free for Surrey educators’ digital resources, including, but not limited to, those from World Book Kids, Canadian Reader, First Nations Education Steering Committee (FNESC), The Critical Thinking Consortium (TC2) and resources on the Elementary Social Studies Team (join code: 2723rt0 – zero at the end)
