Intentional word work supports our learners to become better readers, writers, and spellers. Word work in the intermediate grades is an opportunity to build our learners capacity and confidence as both consumers and creators of complex text. Session goals include strengthening teacher knowledge and understanding of English words as well as expanding teacher toolboxes with flexible and sustainable routines to enrich word-learning across the curriculum.
