Chinese, South Asian and Indigenous Interrelations in BC History - What we did not learn in textbooks

These marginalized groups have often been siloed in our Social Studies curriculum; we will critically look at the impact of this coupled with our unconscious bias. You will have the opportunity to take initial steps on how to incorporate this knowledge into your current units, including aspects of history that are not in many widely used current resources. Bring any related resources and/or units that you use connected to historically marginalized groups accessible during this workshop.
