Are you looking for engaging strategies to support diverse learners and foster a positive, connected classroom culture? Drama-based pedagogy offers powerful opportunities to develop students’ communication, critical thinking, and social emotional competencies in authentic and meaningful ways.
In this interactive, half-day workshop, participants will take part in practical drama games and activities designed to nurture a strong sense of self and community within the classroom. We will discuss how to scaffold these experiences throughout the school year to ensure psychological and emotional safety for all learners and examine research that supports drama as an effective instructional approach across various areas of the curriculum.
Special considerations will be offered to address the needs of English Language Learners and French Immersion students. Come join me for a morning of multimodal learning that is accessible, inclusive, and—most importantly—fun! (No drama experience required)
