DESCRIPTION
Kids in the Know (KIK) is the Canadian Centre for Child Protection’s national, bilingual, interactive safety education program for use in kindergarten to high school classrooms that uses age-appropriate lessons to increase children’s personal safety skills in order to reduce their risk of victimization online and offline. KIK lessons are matched to the British Columbia Physical and Health Education Curricular Competencies and Content and are purposefully designed to create a common language to help facilitate the way we teach kids about personal safety.
