UFLI Foundations, from the University of Florida Literacy Institute, is a recently recommended resource for systematic phonics instruction. Primary teachers who are curious to learn more, or are new to using this resource, are welcome to join the virtual conversation as we contextualize it for Surrey students. We will consider how to take a responsive approach while utilizing the UFLI resource to promote student engagement and learning. Hear from teachers in Surrey who are also using the resource, and connect in breakout rooms to share experiences, consider wonderings, and collaborate with colleagues.
