If you heard the name Andrew Tate last year, this is for you. This session proposes that educators should be aware of anti-feminist influences surrounding boys—and be ready and willing to explore them alongside boys themselves. What do educators need to know about online spaces and radicalization? How do we use an affirming, strengths-based approach to respond to tough boys without giving up ground to the influences surrounding them?
This session will be virtual with some interactive invitations. While this learning is specific to boys (masculine-identifying students), Next Gen Men work from an intersectional and SOGI-inclusive perspective.
