Teaching students to feel empowered to talk about their bodies, to confidently make the decisions that are right for their bodies, and to know the importance of setting and respecting boundaries is all a part of teaching consent in age-appropriate way. This workshop will provide elementary teachers with an opportunity to review some basics around this topic, explore some resources and connect with others around this complex but powerful area of learning in alignment with PHE curriculum. Participants will receive a classroom resource related to student health and consent. Spaces are limited.
