The SEL Lead Initiative is continuing to build social emotional learning capacities in schools for the 2025/26 year. Participating schools will receive an allotment of release days throughout the year and be connected to a district SEL Advocate.
Commitments include:
- Orientation session (Aug 25, 2025 OR Sept Date TBA)
- Coordinating and building upon evidence informed SEL practices school-wide
- Collaborate with district- based SEL Advocate on an ongoing basis
- Co-create a school based SEL team or work with existing SEL Team
- Engage in school-wide SEL process of evidence collection, responsive actions, and reflection
- Attend additional collaborative learning sessions at DEC
