Using Framing Critical Inquiry Questions, a Quick Guide from The Critical Thinking Consortium, we will have focused dialogue around incorporating the key aspects of the resource into our current classrooms. We will specifically focus on Social Studies centering around the curricular competencies. If you and another member of your Social Studies Department are interested, please fill out this very brief expression of interest.
There is availability for 8 schools to participate sending 2 teachers/school.
After school sessions: October 17 & 24 from 3:30 – 4:15 pm.
Full day of in-school support: October 26 or 30
Full day of in-school support with TTOC time provided per school team (½ day for one teacher and ½ for the other) on October 26 or 30. *If your school wants to use 1 Department Head Release Day, then the teachers would have a full day to collaborate together.
