Responding to Readers is a year-long literacy initiative for school teams looking to explore and engage with a community of curious professionals around how students learn to read, quality assessment routines, and responsive, evidence-informed instructional practices. Large or small school teams of educators are welcome to participate throughout the 2024-25 school year through collaboration with colleagues and Literacy Helping Teachers. As this initiative supports the development of our collective capacity as learners and educators, it may be of particular interest to schools exploring literacy next year as part of their Student Learning Plan.
