Will you and your colleagues be focusing on mathematics or numeracy this year? Perhaps this will be part of your school’s “Student Learning Plan”?
The Numeracy Team is excited to announce the launch of an initiative designed to support schools—or a portion of schools’ teaching staffs—towards their focus related to the teaching and learning of mathematics.
Your team will consist of three classroom teachers who will attend one all-day, in-person, launch on October 13. You and your team, as well as other interested colleagues from your school, will work closely, onsite and on an ongoing basis, with the Numeracy Helping Teacher connected to your school. School teams will attend a wrap-up dinner workshop on May 9.
Space is limited. Please indicate your interest by submitting this application form by September 29. If necessary, schools will be randomly chosen. All applicants will be notified by October 4.
