The Surrey School District is hosting a virtual Literacy Assessment Credentialing Workshop with the Ministry of Education on March 14th, 2024. The workshop will be from 8:00am to 4:00 pm and will consist of an orientation to the cross-curricular provincial graduation assessment, familiarization with marking rubrics, and viewing examples of student responses. Participants will also review the marking of previous assessments and be given feedback on their own marking of sample responses.
Given the cross-curricular nature of the Graduation Literacy Assessment, we invite teachers from all subject areas to participate. Please note registration is limited to 10. TTOC information will be provided once registration has closed.
