The Surrey School District is hosting an online Literacy Assessment Credentialing Workshop that will be facilitated by the Ministry of Education on October 11th, 2023. This workshop will be from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and consist of an orientation to the cross-curricular nature of the provincial graduation assessment, familiarization with holistic marking rubrics, and viewing examples of student responses. Participants will also review the marking of previous assessments and be given feedback on their own marking of sample responses.
Given the cross-curricular nature of the Literacy Assessment, this is an invitation to all subject areas teachers to participate in this workshop. Please note registration is limited to 10 participants. TTOC information will be provided once registration closes.
