Book club discussions will create space for small, school-based teams to explore "culturally and historically responsive instruction" within literacy in their unique learning community. Teams will take inspiration from Muhammad as they consider the opportunities to meaningfully address "cultural and historical realities" while they create space for the cultivation of identity, literacy skills, intellect, and criticality so learners have the opportunity to link their purpose in learning to their contributions to the world around them. Intent to provide 2 texts per school team to be shared - 25 schools would then be able to participate)
