New and experienced educators are invited to explore playful learning aligned with the BC Ministry document “Learning in the Primary Years”. This workshop series will unpack the document, uncover where it already intersects with our pedagogy, and suggest where we might expand or shift our practice to reflect the principles in the document. We will also explore the connections between the Learning in the Primary Years document, the Early Learning Framework, First Peoples Principles of Learning, and BC Curriculum.
This series of in-person workshops will complement virtual sessions that will be offered across districts in BC. Teachers are encouraged to register in school teams, where possible. Teachers attending in-person sessions will receive resources to share at their schools.
