Small teams of two or more intermediate classroom teachers are invited to explore concepts of culturally responsive education through a literacy lens. We will center rich, play-based literacy opportunities across the curriculum, designing experiences that support learners’ multiple identities, interests, and diverse competencies.
Your team’s series resources include loose parts, The Gift of Playful Learning and selected picture books. Given the very small cohort size and the year-long focus, we ask for a commitment to all sessions, including participatory engagement in the virtual sessions on Teams.
