Teams of at least 3 teachers are invited to participate in a school-based book study, supported by a numeracy helping teacher. Schools will choose between 2 titles: Teaching Math To Multilingual Learners OR Rethinking Disability and Mathematics .
Teams will be provided with 3 copies of the title they choose for the book club, decide on a meeting structure for the book study at their school and have monthly touchbacks with the numeracy helping teacher they are paired with. The book study will finish with the school teams sharing their learning stories to celebrate and synthesize learning.
The sessions will be after school or lunch and learn.
