In this workshop, we will look at planning a 3-part math lesson with a specific learning goal in mind. Participants will engage in conversations around what Proficient looks like and explore the creation of success criteria. Attendees will leave with the ability to design number sense lessons for immediate use in their classroom that includes instructional strategies appropriate for a diverse range of learners. This session is the launch of a book study “Number sense routines K-3 & “Number sense routines 4-6"". To participate, please fill out this expression of interest with a teaching partner. Similar grade levels may be helpful but not necessary. French Immersion teachers may partner with a colleague from the English program.
