Grace has grown up enslaved on a Virginia plantation. As desperately difficult as her life is, she has her family surrounding her. But when Grace overhears the plantation owners plotting to sell her brothers, she knows the family must leave to seek their freedom. With no time to plan for the Underground Railroad, the family must instead turn to the remote wilderness of the Dismal Swamp.
