Say Something uses speaking and listening skills to deepen reading comprehension. Readers are encouraged to refine and clarify their thinking before sharing with peers.  Readers co-develop understanding as the perspectives of others adds layers to their understanding.  They consider how the thinking of other readers influences their ideas - how they are enriched, challenged or affirmed.
