One way to ensure a daily dose of these experiences is to engage in brief, regular routines. Routines are structured interactions with learning that, when used consistently, help students gain proficiency with a range of early literacy concepts and skills. Routines can be adapted and utilized for a variety of these skills to offer children repeated exposure and time to learn and gain mastery of the skills.
