Goldstone Park Elementary teachers Brittany Roshea and Linda Radford share their passion, experience and helpful tips for teachers looking to explore learning outdoors in this 3-part series. 

Part One:  “Introduction to Outdoor Learning” (25:00)

This session outlines the benefits of learning outdoors plus provides tips and thoughts around getting started, management, and things to prepare to make learning outdoors easy to begin. 

Part Two: “Easy Starting Points” (31:00)

Brittany and Linda continue their exploration of the materials found in the Surrey outdoor learning wagons and highlight tips and strategies for successful outdoor learning. Part Three: "Deeper Learning" (35:00)

Linda  and Brittany share how they dive into inquiry, how past inquiries evolved in response to the curiosities of their learners, and their spring plans to explore local birds and nesting! We hope that this series will inspire you to explore learning outdoors!
