THE GREAT REALIZATION

We have certainly had time by now to process some of the lessons of the pandemic. Most likely, we are even tiring of the same news each day, growing weary under the piles of information in the media. This lesson set recognizes the choice we are presented with as educators, perhaps as parents, and certainly as people: we can become stagnant under the weight of this or step forward, conscious and mindful, about the role we are taking in this narrative, choosing to become inspired instead, and to inspire others. This lesson teaches students to engage responsibly with others in the online world and to develop the behaviours and attitudes necessary to becoming part of a positive discourse during this time.

Teachers are encouraged to make adaptations and pace learning as appropriate for their students and context
