PhET is an open-source suite of math and science simulations made available at no charge by the University of Colorado (Boulder).

FREE online simulations that explore advanced science concepts
Many simulations allow students to do labs that would be impossible otherwise (ie. gravitational energy, atomic structure, climate change over time)
Includes a number of teacher-created lesson plans using the simulations in inquiry-based science.

This is a free digital resource.
PRIVACY INFO
- No teacher or student accounts are needed to access and use the simulation
- Teachers who want to access teaching resources associated with the simulations will need to set up an account with First Name, Last Name, email address, password, school, grades taught, years teaching, and other professional ‘demographic’ data
- No student personal information is collected by PhET
- Student accounts are not permitted, whether established by an individual student or by a teacher. Accounts discovered to be used by students 13 and younger will be immediately deleted by the PhET team
- Teachers are prohibited from setting up and managing groups of accounts for students.
