FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do I join the DL livestream?
  1. Connect your laptop to a projector (and external speakers, if the built-in speakers on your projector aren't loud enough). Test the video and audio to make sure it's working.
  2. Click HERE to open the livestream in a new tab. The livestreams will start at 9:30am (Gr. 4-7 English) and 11:00am (Gr. 4-7 French).
  3. You may need to click the play button once the livestream starts. Ensure that the video is not muted.
  4. To interact with us during the livestream, click the Chat button on the right side. Please enter a name to join the chat. You can use a class name (like "Mr. Singh's class") or create a nickname.
  5. If you hear echoing or any other bugs, please refresh your browser (Command + R on a Mac or Ctrl + R on Windows)
How long are the DL livestreams?

Each livestream will be approximately 25-30 minutes long.

Will you be teaching other digital literacy topics in the future?

Yes! Our plan is to feature 6 topics, three topics each year...and then repeat them on a Year One - Year Two rotation.
